I have worked with adult and teen clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, family issues, and career challenges. I also helped many people who have experienced trauma or emotional abuse.
It is a privilege to hear your story, thoughts and emotions. I do so with warmth, acceptance, and without judgement. By getting to know you and your experiences and through working together, you learn skills and strategies to feel better and be in an emotionally/mentally healthier space. You have the supportive and safe space to release what burdens you, while we challenge the thoughts/feelings that are bothering you.
I use a variety of technique during each session, some more obvious than others. The most important part, however, is that you know you have the safe space to be yourself, without judgment. A few of therapeutic techniques that I may use are:
